Pat was tasked with illustrating/animating the Welcome to Country at the 2023 AFL Gather Round.

Jack Buckskin generated the script based on the Tarntanya or Tarnta Kanya Dreaming. The story spoke of the time of creation and translated in to the male Red Kangaroo Rock. The significance of this area was the sacred rock on the banks on the Karrawirra Pari or River Torrens – being the meeting place for many people and groups travelling to Tarntanya for ceremonies.
